Is it a photo – or a painting?

It's a photograph – but many people think it's painted.

At Foto Factory, we often use soft lighting, low contrast, and natural colors in our images. This creates a mood reminiscent of watercolor or oil painting, even though it is actually photography.

The motifs are not constructed, but arise from the encounter between landscape and light – and this gives an authenticity that both surprises and reassures. Many customers are surprised when they discover that what they thought was a painting was actually captured through a camera lens.
