Ærø poster of the bathing huts on Erikshale by Marstal. We visited Ærø in mid-July and it's like time stands still on Erikshale by Marstal. The Danish flag flies high in the sky, and the air is scented by the sea and the dog roses. The still water invites a dip – everything here is as it has been for many hundreds of years.
The photograph for this Ærø poster was taken in the last light of the day, as the sun set and the reflected light hit the bath houses. Our trip offered the most enchanting summer weather and we usually stayed in our camper by the beautiful beaches or at Ærøskøbing Camping.
The poster is included in the Denmark series, where Foto Factory publish posters from the Danish countryside. The Danish islands often contain a unique scenery and a pleasant environment around the small towns and ports.
