Poster of the fishermen’s houses in the Faroe Islands. A narrow and winding road ends in a cul-de-sac by the fishermen’s houses in a small harbour. The worn houses are weathered due to the harsh climate and strong winds. In the houses, the fishermen keep their gear and boats that must be maintained and kept in good order to cope with the harsh North Atlantic.
The photograph is part of Foto Factory’s Föroyar series that focuses on the dramatic, poetic and to many unknown nature.
