Stairs

Poster of stairs from Fur, the Limfjord’s most beautiful island. Fur’s nature is dominated by the island’s northern side’s steep moler cliffs overlooking the sea. A long walk along the steep cliffs of the coast provides plenty of fresh air and intimacy with the sea. At the same time, thoughts are transported to a faraway time while studying the moler cliffs with their dark seams of volcanic ash. Our favourite place is by the stairs that lead you up a little path. In late summer, the path is overgrown with grass and herbs, and the air is filled with the buzzing of insects and birds.
