The poster of the bike is taken far out on Refshaleøen where small pockets of untamed and organic nature exist. On the quay bicycles, trees and wheelbarrows thrive on equal terms. Some pass away while the other shoots through the hard concrete and become a beautiful birch wood on the manmade quay. It's here in Copenhagen you get the feeling of being in the open, and here the green coincidence rules. It is here that we ourselves seek comfort when we need a break in the city.
Foto Factory have focused their lenses on Copenhagen and zoom in on the small pockets of nature in the city. This is where the plants insist to grow and become wild spaces. This is where nature meets culture and creates a unique space.
